Money worries. Fretful spinny brain. Hec is actually asleep, so I got up so as not to wake him with my fidgets.
How's by you? What is a Tuesday morning like chez Scola? Or are you at work already? I imagine you in a small, tidy white kitchen, staring moodily out the window at a partly-bare, partly-leafy tree confused by the whipsaw weather of the last few weeks. You sip a cup of Earl Grey tea, or possibly black coffee. You appear pensive. What are you pensing?
So, how completely and utterly wrong is my vision? Tell, tell.
I've had my tea. And Owen fed me bits of his cut up apple for breakfast.
Did anyone catch Christian Amanpour on TDS last night?
So very tired. But uncertain whether I'm tired enough to actually sleep if I go back to bed, and whether it'd be worth it for just one more hour since the alarm goes off at 6:30 anyhow.
NILLY!
JZ, sometimes, as long as I'm not restless, an hour just lying there can be almost as refreshing as a nap. One trick I have - don't
try
to keep your eyes closed. For some reason, it seems to have the opposite effect that you want. I find that if I let my eyes stay open, they will close on their own quite nicely. Not necessarily going to = sleep, but it can be relaxing nonetheless.
JZ, more sleep is always good.
I didn't sleep well last night, and I'll be in training all day. It will be a struggle for me to stay awake.
Frank!
JZ, can you do something relaxing and fun? Re-read parts of a beloved book, re-watch an episode of a beloved TV show, preferably with some hot chocolate? This way you may get the rest, without the sleepyness.
Timelies!
Poking my head in to say hi to Nilly (Hi Nilly!) before I have to put on some clothes and run to catch a train....
