I *love* Jorge, and want to see him in other things.
He's very, VERY funny. A nice, dry wit.

Jorge is one of the few actors who can deliver the word "dude" and make it believable instead of an affectation. Very cool.
Cliff Clavin wasn't supposed to be a regular either.
Actually most people I know dismiss people concerned about the environment as tree-hugging idiots.
I may be a tree-hugger, but I don't think I'm the idiot in this scenario.
Let's see. If environmentalism is a religion, then environmentalists should be eligible for faith-based programs, correct? And disagreeing with any tenet of the environmentalists' program is anti-religion and, therefore, unacceptable, correct?
How much do I adore Fred Pete?
Tom Scola, a big giant kiss to you and Gud for the Teacher Day wishes.
I survived Olvera Street and nary a child was lost. My voice on the other hand? Shot to hell.
I just read that Jason Dohring auditioned for Duncan's role on VM, and bland guy auditioned for Logan. And that Logan was supposed to be a pilot one-off.
And BLESS them for seeing the error of their ways so quickly.
Also, I came home thinking, "Hmmm... I wonder when Lori will get home from work. Maybe I should call her." Then I remembered! She's at a taping of the Ellen Show! DOH!
Not to be pedantic, but I'm not sure this was Fox's doing. I think I remember reading that the early producers just axed the idea of offing the main character, not necessarily MF. (Unless I'm making that up).
Jack Sheppard was definitely supposed to die in the first draft, but the version I heard was that the network intervened to save the character while Michael Keaton was still under consideration for the role. Keaton said in an interview that when he heard it was becoming a lead on an hour-long weekly drama, he passed (could be true, could be face-saving). Matthew Fox was brought in to read a rewritten pilot script that featured his character more or less the same as the aired version.
I skimmed, but echoing Kat's thanks for the Teacher Day wishes. Means a lot.
Teachers rock!
TAR logistics question: Does the show reserve a ticket on every possible flight for a camera person, or when someone chooses stand-by do there have to be 3 tickets available for a team to go?
She's at a taping of the Ellen Show!
Jason's cousin drove down from San Luis Obispo with her best friend to see a taping of Ellen yesterday! They were with the riff raff out back but had a great time anyway. We watched today and there was one shot that was just the two of them clapping, way cool. They didn't get home until 7:30 by the way.
TAR:
Four, actually - sound guy, cameraman, and the team. I don't know of any situations where that kept people off a flight, but there was a case where a team was trying to get on a train in India and had to get off because they couldn't fit the crew on the same car.
