Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

She's at a taping of the Ellen Show!

Jason's cousin drove down from San Luis Obispo with her best friend to see a taping of Ellen yesterday! They were with the riff raff out back but had a great time anyway. We watched today and there was one shot that was just the two of them clapping, way cool. They didn't get home until 7:30 by the way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

TAR:

Four, actually - sound guy, cameraman, and the team. I don't know of any situations where that kept people off a flight, but there was a case where a team was trying to get on a train in India and had to get off because they couldn't fit the crew on the same car.

TAR: Man I love Uchenna. "She's doin' way better with my mouth shut."

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I loved that he realized that, brenda.

I was also highly amused by his extreme enunciation at times.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Veronica Mars:

...

Wow.

I'm pretty much maxed out in HSQ. GAH. Love this show.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

TAR: I can't believe that U&J and M&G didn't learn anything from last weeks flight experience! They did exactly what the other teams did and didn't check for flights arriving earlier! AAAAGH!

And I could only catch part of Veronica. So now I'm very confused.

That killed me, quester. I about washed my hands of both of them.

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

TAR: My hats off to Meredith and Gretchen for lasting that long in the race. They really toughed it out and always gave a good effort. I wonder if it would have made a difference if they had been more willing to explore London and do the Baker Street detour, or take the Underground to the bus roadblock.

Art Crawl!!!

Taped Veronica. Would be watching now except for interest in seeing Angela Lansbury reprise her role from Manchurian Candidate on L&O:TBJ.

TAR: Man, I could not believe that Uchenna and Joyce and Gretchen and Meredeth didn't check for other flights. I was really astonished that Gretchen & Meredeth chose brawn over brains -- and somewhat surprised that Uchenna and Joyce did too.

I really wanted Ron and Meredeth to be eliminated. I can not believe that Rob and Amber not only won another leg (actually I totally believe that!) but that they won another great prize. Curse them for winning almost ALL the prizes. At this point, I'm having a difficult time imagining anyone else beating them in the end. I would love Uchenna and Joyce to win though.

Also, when I was at the doctor's office this morning (more blood being drawn), I ran into a former co-worker. Her grandson took part in a reality show about pool. The winner won lots of money and a trip to Fiji. She says that the show is going to run in June, but she doesn't know what channel it will be on.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Cliff Clavin wasn't supposed to be a regular either.

Actually, John Ratzenburger (sp?) auditioned for Norm, but realized very quickly that he was blowing the audition. So, when he was done with the reading, he was frantically thinking and then turned around right before he got to the door and asked the creators if they had written a Bar Know-It-All. They asked what he meant, and he said, "You have to have a Bar Know-It-All! Every bar has one guy who knows everything, and is eager to share it with everyone there." He then did an improved riff of what became Cliff, and they liked it so much that they wrote him into the pilot, and kept asking him to come back in all but one or two eps of S1. He finally got regular cast member status in S2.

TAR: Well, I was relieved it wasn't Uchenna and Joyce (I figured it wasn't by the sky's color as they approached the pitstop). Definitely hope that they win it all next week--if Ron and Kelly manage to pull it together, I'll be shocked, and Romber have already won enough money and had their 15 minutes plus some .
