Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

Oh, Deena. I'd come over and help but...I'm not really around the corner. Virtual hugs, though.

In mememe news, Stephen just brought home a Tree Tavern frozen pizza and I am beside myself with joy. It's the One True Frozen Pizza, and I haven't had one since high school. I didn't even think you could get them anymore, but apparently some not!evil coworker of his found them at her supermarket and picked one up for us.

Simple joys, people.

What is even happening?

Oh, Deena. You poor love. I hope it gets better (or just, you know, stops). If you like, you can laugh at my senility, because somehow, when I first read that, I must have read your board name as "DavidS" and although I read Aidan as Aidan, my brain took it in as Emmett who did this:

Aidan has decided that evil really suits him. He got angry with me and threw a tantrum. Most everything that was on my desk is on the floor. Ditto the dining room table.
...and boy, I was composing a post in my head, recommending Hec take drastic action, like no more baseball for the rest of the season. Of course, Emmett's 9 or almost so, and so in boy years, he's at least two years older than two year old Aidan, and so it's a different kettle of fish. I'm sorry Aidan's being two, when Kara's being three and a half. It's too much.

I've never heard of the brand. I will be googling, although I am generally happy with Stoeffer's French Bread pizza. Also, AmyLiz, I got your email yesterday and then gmail was being evil. To answer your question, I have done absolutely nothing about that thing we discussed last weekend. *sigh* I'm going to wait 'til Little League is over, I think. Having two of them in it at the same time is killing me.

Have you had any games this weekend. Ben's team lost. Again. That's a 0-6 record. I feel so sorry for him. He pitched the last inning and nobody scored on him. I think he walked one kid. I hope his coach lets him pitch some more.

Hec, I'm sending no-broken-player-ma to you, and Emmett's team, and am so glad he didn't clear your desk while having a tantrum. :)

Jake's team lost this morning. 9-2, I think -- I wasn't there, because of my neighbor's funeral, which got pushed back from Wednesday. They lost their last game, too, and he's getting bummed. The coach expects a lot more from 13- to 15-year-olds, I know, and they've been practicing but they're not having a great season.

Strangely, Ben doesn't seem to care if they win or lose. He really just enjoys playing, although they're using a pitching maching this year which took some getting used to.

I've never heard of the brand.

It could be a strictly NJ thing. Last I'd heard they'd gone out of business, but I guess not. And from what I can remember it tastes pretty much like it used to, so yay! Ah, food memories. I have so many.

Would you believe there's a pizza news website?

The phone number for Tree Tavern is 973-835-1906.

They're available at Shop Rite, Whole Foods, Kings and Publix. Of course, I have none of those stores.

I've decided to get Aidan up and not make him take a nap. This means he will be falling asleep in his dinner, but that's far and away better than listening to the gadawful thump thump now.

The Google queen! Why didn't I think of this?

Today must be the day for big accidents. Toto just had a big one on the living room floor (thank goodness for wood floors!). I don't remember the last time he did that. He's usually so good about letting us know that he needs to go out.

ETA: He only does that when he's mad. Clearly I've been too busy working on my schoolwork and need to pay more attention to him. Wonder if he'll write I note to my profs?

Huh, vw. Dang kids, anyway.

I'm doing what I usually do to blow off steam. I'm rearranging my living room. I stayed up until 4 getting it cleanish, so now it's just vacuum, rearrange, and hah to those people who like things in the exact. same. place. for 5 years running.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Deena, I just saw your tag. I love everything Kara says, ever.

I have to admit, that one was one of the most unusual. So far, anyway. She said it at lunch today. Who knows what she'll make of dinner.

(For posterity: "My corn dog has a hot dog inside, crying for help! Shhh, I can hear it. Can you?" ~Kara)
