Ok, got a car repossesed - sad story, I suck, whatever, I'm over it. I have been paying the law firm the amount I owe every month - since 2/04- through direct payment from my checking. I missed a payment in January cause my post dated checks ran out but I noticed, called and got it reset up. Great. Whatever.
Just got a call from the attorneys for Ford Credit. They show I have NOT made a payment since 7/04 and are filing in court for a judgement against me as of MONDAY if I can't show that I have indeed paid. I have called everyone I can call and am in limbo waiting for the answer. So some calm~ma please so that when I go off on the people I have been paying, I do it in a firm but meanacing manner so as to get better results.

Yes, but that doesn't count as proof. Basically, unless the law firm I have been paying can prove that they have paid Ford, I'm fucked. Ford doesn't care if the law firm THEY HIRED stole my money, they only care that they didn't get theirs and will proceed to do evil things to my recatal area without benefit of lube or dinner. Thankfully, they gave me a bit of a warning. Which is nice. Those effers at the utilities don't. They just turn your shit off.

Ok, Ford recalled the account. Not the law firms anymore. THis must have happened within the past 2 weeks cause 2 weeks ago, everything was fine. Still on the phone. Gonna lose. my. mind.
I know I fucked up lo these 2 years ago. I accept it and understand it. But I have been making good. It's so disheartening and frustrating when I've been doing the right thing and now, well, it's bringing back the Aimee Is A Big Loser feelings all over again, even though I know it's not true.
You've been doing the right thing, Aimee. I'm sure it's just a horrible bureacratic mix up with papers getting to someone's desk in the wrong order or something. It will be fixed. You will make the right payments to the right people, just like you have been. Nothing is fucked here.
