Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but I've had a couple of different dreams about having sex with married Buffistas that I've met IRL.

I think the only sex dreams I've had in the last five years have been about Buffistas. Probably about five, never the same person twice.

Thrive to spite them

The nightmare I had most often as a child involved being trapped in a moving car, usually with my sister, so it was more than just me at stake, and NOBODY WAS BEHIND THE WHEEL! I had to try and get over the very high bench seat, and then figure out how to operate the vehicle, except my legs weren't long enought to reach the pedals.

I still have dreams like this.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The dreams I hate are ones where something bad is coming after me, but I can't move.

Oh, those are awful. Especially if they are followed by the dream where I think I've woken up but I still can't move (or scream) and, yes, something bad is still coming. Hate that.

Oh Sean, I've totally had sex dreams about various Buffistae (of both genders, I might add. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

If I only had a brain...

You have nightmares about cutting your hair, Betsy?

Yip. Paging Dr. Freud...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The dreams I hate are ones where something bad is coming after me, but I can't move.

Sometimes I have dreams where the scary thing is chasing me and I can't run. The odd thing? It always turns out that I can run faster backwards.

Because books.

My weird dreams tend to involve houses with lots of stairs, doors that don't go anywhere, too many floors, too many rooms. Calling Dr. Freud...

Happy Birthday, Stunt Husband! And congratulations on your new job!

Oh, and timelies to one and all.

Snerkitty.

Actually some of the weirdest dream weridness I've had is....

....first let me back up. I usually keep my bed wedged in a corner. Holdover from childhood or something, two sides a monster can't get at me from, and all that.

Anyway, I have occasionally had dreams where someone hits me in the head with a baseball bat or something, but the weird part is that the moment of contact exactly coincides with my real self rolling my head swiftly into the wall, so that when I dream a baseball bat has hit me in the head, I get hit in my actual waking head.

Very weird. Luckily never hard enough to leave more than a light bruise, but creepy nonetheless.
