Feed her. Feed you. Pack bag, catch bus.
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
re: cheating--an apple quarter or a couple of carrots is not going to doom you insulin injections, and it'd be a lot healthier than a Twinkie or something.
Plus, a "cheat" that helps you feel better will probably help to keep you from really falling off the wagon later. And the improved blood sugar will probably help with the headache and the coping.
I hope you have a great evening.
OK, that was just...bizarre and freaksome. I'm still not sure where all that came from. But I just ate an apple, packed Annabel's diaper bag, and figured out what we'll wear. (DH is going to the ballpark straight from work, so I'm doing this all solo.) And I made myself a backup plan for what will happen if I miss the bus--that was the unspoken feeder of the freakout. They've changed the bus schedule such that there aren't as many buses to the ballpark as there used to be, and tonight is going to be popular because there's a good giveaway.
Now to feed Annabel.
Susan, I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Have fun at the game!
glad you're doing better. Hope things go well tonight!
Watching Gilmore Girls.
Paris: "Look at us! We're happy and we have boyfriends! This is infinitely better than any mood stablizer I've ever been on!"
Susan, I hope you have fun at the game.
I am watching the Red Sox game with Teacup Guy. The Red Sox are winning, and my boyfriend is the sweetest. I'm feeling a lot better.
I just had the most amazing experience -- I looked out the sliding glass door and saw fireflies -- a bunch of them and finally I went outside.
As much as I want to move, living out here, with the acrage and the woods and lack of light it makes magic. Hundreds of fireflies all through the back, into the woods, flashing and twinkling like a bath full of glitter. It's just so amazing. I don't remember it being like this when I was a kid, but by the time we moved out here I was bit past the age to chase fireflies. Or I wasn't allowed to stay up this late.
But it's beautiful and I wish I could show you all. I can understand why people believe in fairies.
Oh! I haven't seen fireflies in forever. Shiny.
Yay for sweet boyfriends.
I'm watching basketball. I'm tired. It is unlikely I will hear the clock strike 10 tonight.
