Askye, I have no idea what to do other than wait for her to contact her insurance agent. I wouldn't file the claim myself; that's her responsibility, but it is a little odd. If the police officer was nice, you could try to ask him. Maybe he's single and you could get a date out of it.

askye, I'd be kind of leery of contacting the woman directly; you might want to contact her insurer instead, which would not only serve the same end but signal to them that even with the non-insuredness you're still being responsible and ready to settle things up, which in turn might make them more kindly disposed toward you when it comes to working out a payment plan.

No, nothing like that. It was a communication problem, she had told me she wanted to know what I had downloaded so she wouldn't duplicate it (although I was downloading stuff she wouldn't be interested in) and I forgot. So I was at fault, although I don't think it was that big a deal.

Speaking of cleaning, I need to call a commercial cleaning place to clean my house before I call a friend of a friend that was recommended to me as a housekeeper. I don't want to gross her out and frighten her off. I keep thinking I will get it in something resembling order myself, but it doesn't happen.

This is so me. My place is so bad right now that I don't know where to start. However, there will be a start somewhere, because my dad is coming to visit in two weeks. Eek!

I didn't like it much at first, but watched it last week and this week and really liked it both times. Plus, I have discovered that Supernanny is pretty much the same show every week. I have now learned the tips for raising my nonexistent young children and whipping my nonexistent husband into line, so I don't need to watch it anymore.

In completely other news, it looks like I'm heading to the Seattle area and northern Oregon in early June. I'll post in F2F, but if anyone is interested in getting together, let me know. My profile addy is good.

I'd kinda agree with JZ. I don't know the details of what you need to do, but I think it would be better to deal with the insurer since it is just business to them.
