Well, you did take it out and taunt me with it.
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, I think he said yesterday that it's today. Happy birthday, Alex!
(eta: now I want fondue for lunch)
(eata: these statements are unrelated)
Yes, it is #37 today. I'm breaking it in for Jilli, but it's easy to do - as Peev has been here long before me. :)
(I take comfort in that. Also, I take comfort in getting closer and closer to the age when I can really shake my fist and crankily bellow, "Damn kids OFF MY LAWN!" - I do that now, and people look at me funny.)
Thankee all. Today shall be meh. I have a resurging cold, and didn't sleep well (more windstorms throwing things at cars with alarms last night) and have to work today. But tomorrow - mmm, tapas at Harvest Vine, dessert at Dilettant Chocolates, and the company of Alfredo and lots of friends. :) That's just fine. That's what Saturdays are for.
(I can't stand working on my birthday - because everyone plays LOTS of tricks on me, as if I haven't already suffered through them year after year after year...:)

And they think they're ever so clever, too.
Woot, StuntHusband!
Happy Alex Day!
meara--I like both pictures. One is tougher and one is sexier, both good. Love the "K word" mention though--clever!
Happy Birthday, StuntHusband!
Happy birthday, Alex!
And hi. It's the first anniversary of the day I got fired.

That sucks. Anniversaries of painful events should not be on holidays or other notable days. (April Fools Day isn't really a "holiday," is it?)
Phone Companies = teh suck.
When SBC bought out Pac Bell a few years back, anyone who didn't have a long distance carrier on their bill record got automatically enrolled in the most expensive Sprint program available. We're talking 25 cents a second or somesuch. I had AT&T who billed me seperately. Well, SBC overrid or did domething that ran up a huge long distance bill. I refused to pay it and switched all my long distance, local, everything to AT&T.
Some jackass just tried to call me and tell me that not only do I still owe the money (I don't think so) but that they are taking $75 worth of fees onto it and if I don't pay it now, it will rain flesh eating toads in my house and my phone service will be turned off and/or they will make it so that my phone only calls 900 numbers for gay, transsexual dogs in heat. Not that I'd have a problem talking to gay transsexual dogs in heat, but dammit, I will when I want to not because the phone company tells me I have to. But I digress....
I refused to give them my current address and current phone number (note:my phone number hasn't changed. The one they are trying to collect for is the same damn number. Idjits.)
