I get you, Ginger. With me it's the dog walker - I have to straighten up at least twice a week so this person I've never met and only communicate with via notepad won't see how messy I can get.

Boy napping. Must shower. DH offered to come home from work and take the boy while I went to a meeting on my volunteer project. This is going to make my day so much easier.
You know what is a good baby shower gift. A laminator. Seriously, it's very useful when you have little kids. Babies, not so much, but still nobody else would think of it.

First night of tech went well, but HMOG is this show a beast. Phew.
You know what is a good baby shower gift. A laminator. Seriously, it's very useful when you have little kids. Babies, not so much, but still nobody else would think of it.
Also: batteries. Rechargeable batteries. Starting out, you have no clue about the number of batteries you're going to go through. The number grows exponentially the older the kid gets.

L&O this week (no doubt in honor of the Derby) is going to be about a murdered jockey. I will have to tape Eyes and watch L&O.
Also, I LOVE Jake Weber and it's totally the family that I like on Medium.
However, the promise of something interesting with H's brother has me watching c.s.i. Orange again. Sadly, so far, nothing of interest has occurred beyond the revelation that said brother is less dead and more undercover than H originally thought.
