Nick's band sounds good. I've certainly heard way worse on stage. Contest~ma to them. Would playing the songs a couple of more times help?
I have a cleaning service every three weeks. The fact that I feel like I have to pick up all my crap so that I can get my money's worth out of cleaning is the only thing between me and becoming one of those newspaper stories about the houses that just have paths between tall piles of old newspapers and contain big balls of saved string.
Nick's band sounds great, and they're totally taking me back to my misspent yout'.
Coffee of the day at my local this morning was
Los Immortales.
And then I saw a neighbor carrying one of those Buffy-staking-a-vampire in stick figure bags (TWoP?) while I was walking home. Funny start to the morning.
I get you, Ginger. With me it's the dog walker - I have to straighten up at least twice a week so this person I've never met and only communicate with via notepad won't see how messy I can get.

I'm home waiting for the washer/dryer person to come by and hook up the w/d so I can do laundry.
{{Nora}} I hope you feel better.
Perfect Goth Baby Gift.
Boy napping. Must shower. DH offered to come home from work and take the boy while I went to a meeting on my volunteer project. This is going to make my day so much easier.
You know what is a good baby shower gift. A laminator. Seriously, it's very useful when you have little kids. Babies, not so much, but still nobody else would think of it.

Hello, mah Bitches. Nora, I hope you feel better, sweetie.
I love that baby blanket!
First night of tech went well, but HMOG is this show a beast. Phew.

Also: batteries. Rechargeable batteries. Starting out, you have no clue about the number of batteries you're going to go through. The number grows exponentially the older the kid gets.
Anne! I'm so glad you made it safely to your new home and I'm so sorry I didn't get to see you again before you left your old one!
Nick's band = fun! Deena, let me know if they ever decide to do a little tour down this way and I'll see if I can get them hooked up.
