Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. Three nice, sunny days in a row and my allergies are fiercely kicking in.

Stephanie, yay for the fun baby shower.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It's StuntHusband's birthday today, isn't it?

If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

If not, just pretend I said "Have a nice day" in Elvish.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday, SH, if it is.

If it's not, pretend I said "Steph sucks" in Elvish.

Or maybe "gronk".

And to think, I had a huge wedge of swiss cheese in my refrigerator the entire time Perkins visited, and I didn't make her eat it. I didn't even try.

Actually, swiss cheese is too good for her, b/c Perkins, as we all know, sucks.

Well, you did take it out and taunt me with it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, I think he said yesterday that it's today. Happy birthday, Alex!

(eta: now I want fondue for lunch)

(eata: these statements are unrelated)

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

Yes, it is #37 today. I'm breaking it in for Jilli, but it's easy to do - as Peev has been here long before me. :)

(I take comfort in that. Also, I take comfort in getting closer and closer to the age when I can really shake my fist and crankily bellow, "Damn kids OFF MY LAWN!" - I do that now, and people look at me funny.)

Thankee all. Today shall be meh. I have a resurging cold, and didn't sleep well (more windstorms throwing things at cars with alarms last night) and have to work today. But tomorrow - mmm, tapas at Harvest Vine, dessert at Dilettant Chocolates, and the company of Alfredo and lots of friends. :) That's just fine. That's what Saturdays are for.

(I can't stand working on my birthday - because everyone plays LOTS of tricks on me, as if I haven't already suffered through them year after year after year...:)

And they think they're ever so clever, too.

Woot, StuntHusband!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy Alex Day!

meara--I like both pictures. One is tougher and one is sexier, both good. Love the "K word" mention though--clever!
