I need to make dinner. A friend is crashing here for a couple of nights as she has a training class a few miles away (saving her from a multi-hour commute each way) and I think I promised food. Why did I go and do that?
eta: I ate cat food once when I was younger. It is not on the menu for tonight. Gross. I wouldn't stop a kid from trying it but I just remember it being horrid. Meow Mix actually.

Whew. Home. For the record, I made my way halfway across the country alone, explored a new city by myself, then made it back, at which point the Universe must have realized I was feeling pretty proud. Thus, I forgot where I parked my car at the airport. Walked around for an hour in the rain, luggage in tow. When a shuttle driver picked me up again I looked like a drowned rat.
But still, a fantabulous vacation. I'm tired and would go to sleep, but I drank a whole cup of coffee on the drive home and I know I'd lie there awake. Ima go to the music store at midnight to buy PotO on dvd to watch in bed.
Sniff. I'm sad that's my funniest, but just for you, I won't go back and edit. :)
Well, funniest this week, anyway. I just imagined myself in a lounge chair, sunglasses and drink at hand, sitting by a giant pile of dog shit.
