I can hurt a demon!! That's right. I'm back. And I'm a BLOODY ANIMAL!

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

erika, insent.

That sounds cool. My business trips usually involve working 12-16 hours a day and don't leave any time for stuff.

We're talking about actuaries, here, Gud. They've got a few meetings and stuff, but plenty of time for recreation. Besides, I don't have to attend ANY meetings--just lounge by the pool. Especially since this is our first vacation sans baby.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Not my fault, Nora! I was nowhere near you!

So it turns out we should have stayed through the credits. But what with all the annoying people, I just wanted out as soon as possible. Must see again, possibly with a geekier crowd.

Well, FUCK- I almost always stay through the credits. Now I am just pissed off. I'm in a mood though. A head banging (in a "against my desk or a wall" way) mood. Trying not to let it rachet up.

FUCK. I am not going to watch it again till it comes to DVD, I don't have the money for that shit. Fuck those little movie-ruining punks.

Congrats to your DH, Sparky! That's great!

Missed this the first time through, but assume you're referring to H2G2. On the one hand, I think my two friends and I were the only ones laughing at many of the jokes. They seemed to go right over (or under?) the other people's heads, although they laughed hard enough at the preview for Deuce Bigolow: European Gigolo. ) On the positive side, about eight or ten of us broke into applause at the "For Douglas."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

On the positive side, about eight or ten of us broke into applause at the "For Douglas."

I teared up at that. And in the beginning, when his name was in the writing and producing credits, and again in the middle when the original theme music introduced The Book. I'm a ginormous sap.

I'm highly underpaid. Going to have to discuss this with HR.

Up with the sun

What is in the end credits?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whoot! By the time I can give birth, they'll have ironed out the glitches for funding SAHM pay, right?

Let's hope so. I'd like to see that pay scale put into effect immediately.

This figure will help us determine how much life insurance to buy for me. Now if we can figure out what DH would pay for consortium, we'll be set.
