Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Even if I give him a snack in the baby gates, he reaches through the bars to share with the dogs.

At least you know he has a generous heart!

Since we are petless, Annabel can only feed the floor. Which she does. Liberally.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We have been putting Ollie in the back of the house whenever Em's having some tummy time or in her walker cause otherwise, he kisses her, lavishly. The other day, we watched as that little *** backed up down the hallway and LEAPT over the babygate. So, being logical creatures, we raised it up.

He did it again.

We're getting another baby gate.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Aimee, alternatively you could enter Ollie in some steeplechase events.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Apparently when I was toddlerish, my mother would walk to the grocery store with me and the dog, and buy cookies and Milk Bones as a reward for being good, and I, not being all that into sweets, would promptly instigate a trade.

Eh, made us both happy, I guess. And possibly made my coat shiny.

I'd have to use the baby as bait. Otherwise, no concentration.

Now tagless for your comfort.

SHIT!

We're going to Phoenix in two weeks. DH's ticket had to be booked through work. So last night, I picked the flight we wanted and they booked it. Then when I went to book mine today. The price. DOUBLED. Now I'm trying to find alternative flights still in our price range.

If all relgious leaders were like him - open , compasionate, and aware of thier own flaws - I think the world would be in a much better state.

Yeesh, Cashmere!

We're trying to coordinate a visit home with ExArmy Brother and his wife and son, since they live in CA and haven't met Annabel yet. They're delaying because they're hoping fares will go down. This makes DH and I nervous, because we think they'll go up. I'm also mildly annoyed at SIL because she was saying Annabel and I should stay an extra week or so in Alabama after DH has to go back to work. It's not that it's a bad idea, but I'd already dismissed it because Annabel is a daddy's girl, and I think it'd make her too upset and anxious if we were in an unfamiliar place and her father just up and disappeared on her for that length of time. But SIL has a way of treating me like I'm an amateur at the game of life and need her helpful tips that tends to grate.
