Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
CHRIS: Duht. What does the duht turn into, when it's rainy?
ME: Mud.
CHRIS: And what does the mud turn into, when it's sunny?
ME: Dirt.
CHRIS: And what does the duht turn into, when it's rainy?
ME: Mud.
CHRIS: *laughs hysterically* And what does the mud turn into, when it's sunny?
LORELAI: That's repetitive.
RORY: And redundant.
LORELAI: And repetitive.
RORY: And redundant.
Heh. I have never watched Gilmore Girls. I think I was irrationally angry at it--oh, maybe because the WB ran it in the sacred timeslot.
Carrot cake is veg, right? No. It is sugar, fat, and some shredded veg that is cooked long enough that its starch is converted to sugar. I can't fake up carrot cake.
Well, she's nice enough, and I'm hoping that maybe my last impression was just altered by nerves and such. Maybe it'll be a great time. Who knows?
Okay. This one is that one. I gotcha. If you go, I hope you have a lovely time.

Yep. I watched GG and taped Buffy, not because I liked one better than the other, but because often people wanted to borrow the Buffy tape.
I think Jen used OKCupid.
Yup. And with much success: Good Date is the first person I met in the flesh.
Greg came home, saw how clean the kitchen is, and decided that his birthday dinner could be out instead of in. Yay! I get a present too!
yay! Happy birthday Greg!
and today Carrot cake can be a veggie, but only because it is saturday.
I love to make up rules.
Thanks for checking in Fay!
Turns out DH is going to be in Seattle next week( with a client yelling at him... whee) I have an idea of the weather, but what the level of allergens up there. do I need to make sure he takes lots of drugs?
beth, according to weather.com, tree pollen is high but everything else is moderate to nonexistent. I haven't noticed many allergy symptoms this spring, but IIRC mine are usually worse in late May and into June up here.
Have him take them just in case. Late winter/early spring this year was bad enough that my nurses were cursing it, though it's much calmer now.
Baby costs came in today: 11k+. Don't remember how much of that's covered, though. These breast barnacles are 'xpensive!
