Now I just want to sit on my couch. But I might end up going on a date with someone I don't really want to go on a date with. Ay.
meara girl, life is too short to keep dates you don't want to keep.
Greg came home, saw how clean the kitchen is, and decided that his birthday dinner could be out instead of in. Yay! I get a present too!
Woo hoo!
Jill, are you going out, or just being your usual gorgeous self?
You could always say "But the Headmistress of Gothic Charm School said I could!"
I'm so using this. Yup.
My house is the cleanest it's been since the baby's been born. And I still have an hour to make our bed and take a shower before the people get here.
My twin sister wanted my opinion on meeting people on the internet today. HA!!! I've always thought she thought I was a little crazy for meeting with the strange, interbunny folks but now she told me she's considering eHarmony.com or Match.com.
Since I've never used them, I don't know what to tell her. Any buffistas out there with first hand knowledge of either of those two services? I don't want her to waste her money, but I think she really is at a point where her personal life is pretty together (meaning she wants to move beyond her ex) and she wants to meet a nice guy. But she's not in Great Guy Central so she's going to have to cast a wider net.
Crap. Must shower before people get here.
ooops!
Birthday Happies to Greg!!!!!
My boss met her current boyfriend on Match. Mind, she went through a lot of dates, some good, some not so good. But overall I'd call it a success.
Didn't Jen meet Her Doom on eHarmony recently? Or was it another one?
And now? Your moment of Zen.
CHRIS: Mommy, what does the dart turn into, when it's rainy?
ME: The dark?
CHRIS: Daaaart.
ME: Dart?
JULIA: He said
dart. Dart. Daaaaaaaaart.
ME: Dart?
JULIA & CHRIS: NO! Daaaaaaaart.
CHRIS: You know, outside. The dart. The dart. The ground
ME: The dirt?
CHRIS: Yeah. The dart.
ME: Durrrrrrrrrrt.
CHRIS: Duht. What does the duht turn into, when it's rainy?
ME: Mud.
CHRIS: And what does the mud turn into, when it's sunny?
ME: Dirt.
CHRIS: And what does the duht turn into, when it's rainy?
ME: Mud.
CHRIS: *laughs hysterically* And what does the mud turn into, when it's sunny?
I think Jen used OKCupid.
Happy Birthday to Greg!
After watching Harry Potter, DH had a yen for carrot cake. He has gone in search of same. Carrot cake is veg, right?
life is too short to keep dates you don't want to keep.
Well, she's nice enough, and I'm hoping that maybe my last impression was just altered by nerves and such. Maybe it'll be a great time. Who knows?
CHRIS: Duht. What does the duht turn into, when it's rainy?
ME: Mud.
CHRIS: And what does the mud turn into, when it's sunny?
ME: Dirt.
CHRIS: And what does the duht turn into, when it's rainy?

LORELAI: That's repetitive.
RORY: And redundant.
