Does that work better for you than long hot shower? I always go for heat myself.
Normally, I go for the heat, but I'm under instructions from the duck to use ice to tone down the inflammation.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

They [greyhounds] come up to me all delicate, warm, and graceful with a look of, "I'm ever so pretty. Please pet me."
This is it exactly. There's a ginger-colored greyhound here named, of all things, Ginger. If I'm running late to work, I often meet her with her person on their morning walk. I was never enamoured of greyhounds before, but she is soooo soft.
{{{askye}}} This is why I hate cars.
I've felt low and depressed for ages and I was just having a good conversation about oldtime soccer with a friend/colleague and I went off to get coffee feeling really upbeat, enthusiastic and positive for no reason, like a load had lifted off my shoulders.
This is great! Enjoy!
Harper Lee is doing a signing at my building next week for the 50th anniversary of the LA Central Library.
WOW!
I think I may be done with the !! now, and I release them into the wild.
Back sucks, thanks. It was good this morning but the more I sit, the more it hurts. Must to go home and ice the hell out of it.
Poor Empress. Would sitting on one of the giant bouncy balls help?
I asked, and not really. Sitting is the worst position for me to be in- Puts pressure on the sprain from above and below. But I came in thinking I had a bunch of invoices to input with it being the end of the month and all. Turns out - NSM. Damned managers didn't even sign off on them.
But I got a nice spa basket for Secretaries Day. I'm not even a secretary.
$59.00
Do you have a Ford Minivan with that 26 gallon tank? Ours is always painful to fill too, but at least it lasts awhile. The last time we filled up we were able to get gas at $1.98 a gallon.
It just seems wrong for $1.98 to be a good price for gas. I remember when gas went over $1, and thought that was terrible. t /old fart
Wait, I can't really end that, can I.

Yes ma'am. And it'll take a month before we go through it. I basically just use it to drive to daycare, to the train and then home again.
Aimée, do you have good lumbar support in your work chair? I had an ergonomic eval at work after I injured myself, so now I get to whine officially if anyone gives me a slacker chair. Also, I have a little inflatable one for the car, and it helps -- you can carry it on trains/planes, etc, and then deflate it and put it in your purse.
Can I bleach it to a more even color and then redye in the sage green I am looking for? ( the fabric is in really good shape)
If the lighter areas aren't much different, dye can often even out the color. If it doesn't come out right the first time, you can just keep adding dye. At least that's what my mother, the mad dyer, does. Her best transformation was turning the ugly green wool throw into the attractive rust-colored throw.
I can remember gas wars and 10 cent gas

Fortunately, I do. It's a schmancy ergo chair. I'ma look into the inflatable one. Where did you get yours?
