I have no camels in my freezer, but I do have various parts of various other forms of livestock.
I also have, not in the freezer but on the sofa next to me, a moderately unhappy cat. Harvey just had his evening meds.
Poor Meow-meow.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Walter Brennan, RIP. Lord, I love that movie beyond all reason.
I just spent half an hour buff-diving. Not one time did any of my COMMs show up.
Yes, I know that's vanity diving. So what's your point?
I am a witty person. I just can't think of anything good to say when I'm here.
aw, poor Aimee. Back pain is of the suck.
So, anyway, my post that got et last night was about the lovely NERAX beer festival. I drank many kinds of british session beers (low ABV) in a wussy 5 oz. glass. I was just glad I was able to try as many of them as I did and NOT get wasted and NOT have a hangover today. And, since these days it doesn't take much to give me a hangover, I figure I did pretty well for myself.
Teppy, the Alchemist is supposed to "show" one of their IPAs. Sadly, it was not on tap last night. Maybe tonight?
The one thing about NERAX is that it brings the beer geeks from wide and far, which is fun, but the hall they have it in is kinda small. We got there at the beginning and it was so crowded and the line situation was so out of order, and I couldn't relax and it was not much fun. We stepped out for about an hour and it had settled down when we returned, and it was much more fun. You could actually read what beers were available, and talk to the folks behind the bar.
Mmm! Cask conditioned deliciousness! I love beer!

Me, too. It's the "just whistle" part that KILLS me every time. Plus Lauren Bacall's smokey singing voice and the way she swayed in that dress. Bogey's not bad, either.
No wake up calls last night. 10 hours uninterrupted. I love it when that happens.
I have not mentioned this before, but a discovery I have made since returning: Melbourne CBD has peregrine falcons. I'm up on the 34th floor, facing out over the city, and sometimes they fly close enough to my building for me to make a positive ID of the species, for instance. I think I caught on a couple of weeks ago just pulling out of a stoop.
I wanna see one make a kill. There are plenty of pigeons around for them. I suspect they prefer hunting over greenery, though.
I think I may run into Steph in the Applebee's parking lot. They have real ribs and not just those riblets, right?
recoils in horror
You've got Norm's in P-land, and you're getting ribs at...Applebee's?!??!?!?
weeps and weeps
t /bbq snob...no, wait - that never closes
Poor Aimee!
Timelies!
I don't really have anything else this morning. That's kind of sad.
Oh Aimee, I hope you get some relief.
Cashmere and Beverly, I adore that movie so so so so so so much. Hmmm. I have to see if it is on DVD and get it, if it is. LOVE.
Gronklies, everyone.
Anne, good luck in your move, wherever you are.
Much get-well-ma, Aimee.
