Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Always Anti-fascist!

FTR, I think it's fab, even through the Envious. I just need to pull chains every now and again.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Have I mentioned I love this woman?

Not that I've heard...but I kinda figured it out.

I'm glad you two had a wonderful time.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The grocery store right near me makes their own gourmet ice cream. I have pralines and caramel in my freezer.

This could be bad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dear lord, I thought you had a camel in your freezer.

I should go to bed.

Just don't tell Aimee.

Or maybe do, and she'll come visit me.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have no camels in my freezer, but I do have various parts of various other forms of livestock.

I also have, not in the freezer but on the sofa next to me, a moderately unhappy cat. Harvey just had his evening meds.

Poor Meow-meow.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Was you ever bit by a dead bee?

Walter Brennan, RIP. Lord, I love that movie beyond all reason.

I just spent half an hour buff-diving. Not one time did any of my COMMs show up.

Yes, I know that's vanity diving. So what's your point?

I am a witty person. I just can't think of anything good to say when I'm here.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

aw, poor Aimee. Back pain is of the suck.

So, anyway, my post that got et last night was about the lovely NERAX beer festival. I drank many kinds of british session beers (low ABV) in a wussy 5 oz. glass. I was just glad I was able to try as many of them as I did and NOT get wasted and NOT have a hangover today. And, since these days it doesn't take much to give me a hangover, I figure I did pretty well for myself.

Teppy, the Alchemist is supposed to "show" one of their IPAs. Sadly, it was not on tap last night. Maybe tonight?

The one thing about NERAX is that it brings the beer geeks from wide and far, which is fun, but the hall they have it in is kinda small. We got there at the beginning and it was so crowded and the line situation was so out of order, and I couldn't relax and it was not much fun. We stepped out for about an hour and it had settled down when we returned, and it was much more fun. You could actually read what beers were available, and talk to the folks behind the bar.

Mmm! Cask conditioned deliciousness! I love beer!
