It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I think I came up with my definition of porn because printed porn - does nothing for me. video - I need context - not just people doing various sex acts.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Deena, job-done-ma to you to the nth degree. Once done, you can play, right?

I wish. In about 8 minutes I have to call and discuss the work I just (badly) finished, and then run through an online presentation, and then attend the online presentation so I can run the slides since he's afraid of technology, and then I have more work to do after that, though I may shovel out my living room instead of doing any more paid work today. It's a conundrum. I need to get the paying stuff done, but the mess surrounding me is driving me insane.

The wide universe is the ocean I travel, and the earth is my blue boat home

Romance novels are good for my marriage. I switch gears very slowly - so if I am doing the dishes - sex is a forgien concept. a good romance novel puts my brain in the right place.

I'm the same way. So both reading and writing this stuff is good for my marriage.

I worry about the objectification of women. And I worry that supporting "legitimate" forms of pornography somehow contributes to the existence of "lower" forms of porn.

Yes, this.

I think most romance novels are concerned with the romance part--with bits of sex thrown in for fun. So I don't consider them in any way, pornographic.

Me neither. Though in the wip, the sex is too important for character development to take out without gutting the story, so I wouldn't quite say it's thrown in for fun, either.

Erotica is porn you like...porn is porn you don't like...I think Gloria Steinem said that.

Ann, that's a ferret.

...and obscenity is porn you don't think anyone should like.
