Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm sad to announce that libkitty is an istaist. She's going to Chicago and asking only for librarianistas when Chicago (and surrounding vicinity) is chockfull of such things as Chicagoistas, Wisconsinistas, and other assorted -istas of choice. Sadder, now.

I'm no istaist. What's an istaist?

Seriously, I don't know if I'm going to Chicago. Probably the funds will not allow (nasty funds), but if librarianistas were going that I could perhaps share a room with at the conference hotel, I might try to do it on my own dime. Rest assured, if this works out and I can go, I will put out a general Chicagolandista call!

What's an istaist?

Someone who discriminates on the basis of what type of -ista you are. I didn't realize you were looking for a hotel-mate to save money. I'll watch for the general call later if you're able to make the conference.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

In this picture I actually thought, "Who is that cute girl with the red turtleneck?"

Awww. You two are so cute. (For real, that's not my sarcastic voice.)

Trust my rage

::another lame attempt at humor bites the dust::

not so - the humor made me laugh. of course, i assumed it wasn't serious and i would never presume libkitty was really an istaist. (that's a hard word to type)

Me, neither! I'm just too much a pedant sometimes. Hazard of being a Buffista. Or, maybe, just one of it's defining characteristics.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Stressful, but not terribly trying, day + one glass of wine + very nice soak in a very hot bath = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

This is new math.

Hi Java!

Oh and it is amusing to start your day with a call asking if you can whip up some html files though they contain "tasteful" nudity. It was far more art than nekkid. And not even that risque for art.

Still some naked is better than no naked and designing is more amusing when you are lining things up with a naked ass than some boring corporate picture.
