I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Spike ,'Chosen'

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What is even happening?

Call me a schmoopy-head, but the monitor always gets very blurry after I look at Tickybox pictures for a while.

Mine too, Karl. Maybe Tickbox is taking over the world, one computer at a time.

Plei, thanks for the pictures, mama. How are you doing? Enjoy your lightweight drinking status, now. When she's three, there might not be enough wine in the world.

Is anyone up? I woke up at 4:00am, here. Feh. Bad me. It's my cold, I think.

I am up and was just wavering on posting something stupid I just did. Bad cold...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm up, trying to decide if Lilybean is down for the count, or just taking a between-meals break.

I'm hoping she's down for the count, so that I can go to bed.

Oh, two Buffistas at once. Cass, I think you should tell the stupid, but that might just be me, being selfish. I should have known you'd be up. You're always in the running with ND, for most sleep-disordered Buffista.

Lilybean? Plei, that's too cute. How often is she eating? Are you healing well, and managing to sneak in naps, and all that?

Princess Tickybox should snooooooze.

As, frankly, we all should be.

I went to check my email before I went to bed. There was an interesting email about a possible job - out of the blue. I called thinking that, being a corporate number and all, I could leave a message. We can all see where this went, right? Yeah, I woke her up. This shows interest right? That I called to say I would call in the morning.

Sigh... It's funny even though it is sadly true...

And actually given the stupid (which I just posted about) and the ensuing stress, I might take an Ambien now so I should only be around for a half hour or so... Because tonight? Well now I need to sleep so I can be alert in the morning.

Oooooops. Yes. Interest. Definitely interest.

Princess Tickybox should snooooooze.

I think she might have taken your advice, Cass. If you can bottle that, you'd never need a conventional job again. You'd just need someone to write a macro that would send out emails to new babies, every few minutes. People would fight to be on your client list. You'd be living the life of Riley, without actual Riley.

As, frankly, we all should be.

I fell asleep not too long after 10, so I don't think there's any going back for me. At noon, I'll be falling over, but right now, with six hours or so under my belt, my brain and body won't quiet back down. Besides, I've had a cup of coffee.

You, though, should sleep. And Princess Tickybox and her mother, the queen, should do likewise. I won't get into too much trouble on the 'net, all by myself. I only get into trouble when the humans are out and about.

Well, I am only able to keep track because I'm in the top ten.
And actually given the stupid (which I just posted about) and the ensuing stress, I might take an Ambien now so I should only be around for a half hour or so... Because tonight? Well now I need to sleep so I can be alert in the morning.

Oh, that was the stupid? I though that was fresh stupid. I was too stupid to realize that was the stupid. Don't be so hard on yourself. Who puts their home number on these things? Besides, it will make a great, "How I got hired story," in the future.

Take the pretty pill, and sleep the sleep of the just, Cass.
