Banana Republic used to be so pointlessly cool, with the whole safari thing. Now they're like The Gap with fewer jeans.
Probably because The Gap owns them and all.
Whoof. I'm having such a frazzling day at work. I really need to walk around the block for a minute just for a dose of fresh air and deep-breathing.
Got no opinion on the Pope except it makes me marginally less cynical than the Texas GOP platform or the theocracy movement.
You mean See's makes something other than those odd rock-hard little sucker things?
More than. I don't like the 2 hump-ed kinds.
In five minutes flat I got you a baby albino camel, woman! And you count the humps?
It's from a movie about Mongolian camel hearders and the mother REJECTS the baby albino camel. POOR SWEET BABY CAMEL NEEDS A MOMMY AND AIMEE WON'T DO IT!
The mom rejects the baby because he/she is albino? That's so sad.
Yay for cool animal pics.

I'm obviously ill-informed, but I was wondering, what does it say about Ratzinger's politics or point of view that he chose the name Benedict?
ION, yesterday the speech therapist said Aidan needs group speech therapy, not one on one (which is what we were hoping for because he'll get group in the fall for free), but she'd like him to see an occupational therapist to improve his fine motor control.
Today we saw the gastro-enterologist and not only does Aidan NOT have to be scoped, but we can stop the formula and try soy milk again.
The mom rejects the baby because he/she is albino? That's so sad.
Not to the Empress it isn't.
The Story of the Weeping Camel
Sounds like all kinds of good AIdan news, yay!
Dromedary = one hump, is that right?
I was wondering, what does it say about Ratzinger's politics or point of view that he chose the name Benedict?
Deena, I was looking up that very thing today. It's after the Pope who was in power during WWI, who was a pacifist and conservative doctrinally. Wikipedia claims that:
Although one of the less remembered Popes of the twentieth century, he deserves commendation for his humane approach in the world of 1914-1918, which starkly contrasts with that of the other great monarchs and leaders of the time. Thus, when Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected pope in 2005, his choice of the title Benedict XVI was intended to convey a promise of humanitarian diplomacy and a firm stance against modernism.
That little guy sure keeps you on your medical toes, Deena.
See's, yum.
Yipee for Aidan not having to be scoped!
