Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

FTR, I am not obsessing. I am eating See's chocolates sent to us for National Library Week. It is a good week to be a librarian.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm not sure that's true, Connie. People just obsessed about different things. Polio, for example.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Banana Republic used to be so pointlessly cool, with the whole safari thing. Now they're like The Gap with fewer jeans.

Probably because The Gap owns them and all.

Whoof. I'm having such a frazzling day at work. I really need to walk around the block for a minute just for a dose of fresh air and deep-breathing.

Got no opinion on the Pope except it makes me marginally less cynical than the Texas GOP platform or the theocracy movement.

Trust my rage

The mom rejects the baby because he/she is albino? That's so sad.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Yay for cool animal pics.

I'm obviously ill-informed, but I was wondering, what does it say about Ratzinger's politics or point of view that he chose the name Benedict?

ION, yesterday the speech therapist said Aidan needs group speech therapy, not one on one (which is what we were hoping for because he'll get group in the fall for free), but she'd like him to see an occupational therapist to improve his fine motor control.

Today we saw the gastro-enterologist and not only does Aidan NOT have to be scoped, but we can stop the formula and try soy milk again.
