I should have gone to bed three hours ago. Where did that time go???
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
(Of course for us)
We've been finishing up laundry and dishes and now bed is calling my name.
Goodnight everyone! I hope O lets you sleep tonight, Cashmere.

Nighties, Deena! He's been pretty good (although we've resorted to THE CRYING). When he wakes, we let him cry (it only takes him about 10-15 minutes to go back to sleep). Except for he JUST came down with a snotty nose yesterday so I'm all guilty about THE CRYING because he's sick and snuffly. *sigh*
If I go to bed *now* I'll get six hours.
extra love and hugs to vw.
I had a good day. took my self shopping. Lush and some clothes. May I explain 1) most women over fourty - can't do fooffy skirts and 2) I like bright colors - but all the brigh colors should not be on one pair of pants. . Oddly , for the first time I bought thing at talbolts ...
I'm tired, but evidentally not sleepy, and I already called the front desk once about the people next door who have their TV on really loud, and they turned it down when security asked them too and then turned it back up again after he left.
Hi Perkins, I'm with you in the insomnia boat. Are they watching porn at least?
No. The news. What's up with that?
That's just sick.
t waves at Eddie and Perkins
Perkins, when all else fails, I've been known to leave the TV or radio on something kinda lulling and monotonous to drown out neighbor noise. I once slept in a hotel to the National Spelling Bee on ESPN.
I've had a good day. I've been having trouble getting anything done all week, but today I....
...did massive amounts of laundry and folded three loads worth (one load is still in the dryer and another in the washer, and they'll stay there till tomorrow).
...wrote 3 pages on the wip, which is my daily goal--depending on whether I write daily, I manage 15-20 pages/week, 60-70/month. Not bad for a writer with a one-year-old.
...followed up with a freelance client.
...judged an entry for a writing contest.
All while taking care of Annabel, spending plenty of time online, and skimming to the end of a book that just wasn't quite exciting enough to read properly. There were things I wanted to do that didn't happen, but I'm not going to push myself till midnight to get them done. This is the best day I've had in nearly a month, so I'm going to curl up with a book and read until midnight, maybe with a Daily Show break in there somewhere. I've earned it.
Yay Susan! You certainly do deserve it!
