I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

beth, so glad you got some sleep. I hope you nap well today if you need one.

Want to eat at Anne's.

A friend of mine has a 20lb Maine Coon. Biggest freaking kitten I have ever met. He's five. And a snuggler. Never knew that I adored Maine Coons until I met him.

I've gone grocery shopping, done dishes, gone to brunch and taken my parents to the airport today.
Go you, vw!

Last night I watched Sweet November because the GUH of Michael Rosenbaum beat rational and Keanu. So very pretty.

It reminded me of Googling some pretty boy (you know, I wish I could remember who but I haven't a clue) a couple of days ago and there was a barefoot picture that I knew ita had to have. So I clicked to see it closer. It was on the barefoot site... I should have known...

Feel free. At least some amusement is coming from all this.

Always Anti-fascist!

Today we went to the Glendale Jazz Festival. It was nice, but got started late because churches complained. It is already warm. Starting outside stuff at twelve is too much to ask. It was fun, though.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

whee! we have our pretty porch! We moved the geraniums out, potted some pansies, and planted some seeds. Swept away the winter debris and set our deck chairs out there.

Now, I want a beer.

Actually, I would have likely tried the shoe throwing too. I could see myself in your post. Just not sure I would have admitted it unless there were witnesses.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Now, I want a beer.

I was lazy lazy lazy today, and sat outside in the sun with some blueberry wine I purchased last year in the Fingerlakes region. Twas yummy. Now I need motivation to do stuff I really ought to. But I probably won't.

Our wings are not tired.

I have no spare sanity. Sorry.

It's kind of against the law to burn someone's will, right?

I'll never tell.

Yay for the pretty porch. I think a cold beverage to enjoy the setting is appropriate.

I've been working so damn hard this weekend. I've even managed to kill yet another vacuum. This is why I shouldn't try housecleaning.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Nora, is that your new porch? Already?

This has been a very hectic weekend. We're down to Katie and DebetEsse. Everyone else has gone home.

I know everyone else will have pictures, but here are a few from the reading. [link]
