Just took mom and dad to the airport for their spontaneous trip to Holland. Asked all the important questions before they left...found out that they STILL haven't updated their will, like they promised me they were going to do after they went to Germany last year. So, if my parents die on this trip (which they damned well better not! If nothing else, I don't need more stress in my life right now!), their money is being split between two fundamentalist organizations. It's kind of against the law to burn someone's will, right?
They really better fix this before their next trip. Silly parents. Don't they know it's cruel to leave your children a mess like that!

Anyone got any extra sanity lying around? I need some about now...
vw--have some of mine! I'm going to be cleaning the house all day and won't be needing it.
Oh, thank goodness! And it's wise sanity too. Even better!
I'll trade you sanity for some motivation...
Sorry, Meara, I used up all my motivation on deciding to clean the house in the first place!
I'll send any spare sanity I've got your way, but I'm not sure I have that much to start with.
Right now, what I need to do is clean my kitchen. Also, I need to vaccuum. But before I can vaccuum, I need to get all the junk off the floor. Trying to time Passover cleaning around the need to have somewhere to eat until Passover is a bit tricky.
meara, I'd trade, but I'm not sure how much motivation I've got left. I've gone grocery shopping, done dishes, gone to brunch and taken my parents to the airport today. I think it's all done gone.
I'll trade some spare sanity for restful sleep.
Who knew that throwing shoes wouldn't help?
