I am about to start studying for my first final. Ugghhh. vw, glad to hear you slept well last night. I slept pretty well myself - first time in three days my back didn't hurt from putting together the baby dresser.
Okay, time to open the books!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What final is this, Stephanie? And when is it?

What is this cleaning house thing of which you speak?
I love Laura! Housekeeper after my own heart.
There is nothing like a good night's sleep. Yay!

Whenever people would criticize my mom for her housekeeping (or lack thereof), she would respond with, "The dust will always be there; my kids won't." I love that.

It's a final in Wills, Trusts, and Estates. It's a class I have enjoyed, although it's full of old terms and traditions. The final is Friday morning, so I have time to prepare but since my entire grade is this test, I'm starting early.
And you aren't being nosy...it's nice to be asked about what you are doing!
My mother had the same attitude so I use that as justification. There are only so many hours, so something has to go. Flying a kite is a much better way to spend my time than doing dishes. I also use paper plates much of the time. I justify that by remembering we have more land in Florida than water.
but since my entire grade is this test, I'm starting early.
EEK! I'd be starting early too!
My first year of law school, I was a nervous wreck before finals. I felt nauseaous and couldn't sleep during the entire week between the end of class and my first final.
Now, I still really want to do well (perfectionist that I am), but I do have this new little voice in the back of my head that says "Who cares about grades...babies are so much more fun!" I'm trying hard to ignore the voice.
Back to the books for real this time.
Whenever people would criticize my mom for her housekeeping (or lack thereof), she would respond with, "The dust will always be there; my kids won't." I love that.
One of my mother's favorite stories was the neighbor who announced, voice dripping with scorn, "you know, if you didn't travel so much, you could afford a decent dining room table."
Priorities, people.
Back 20 years ago I had intended to go to law school. Took the LSAT, got the applications and catalogs. Then I decided to open my business instead after graduation. Just this week I was looking at some of the graduate programs at the local universities. Brendon looked at me like I was crazy, but I liked school. I was a stressed freak about my grades. (3.86 for my BS, yo!) I'm considering this. I have a new assistant at work so that is some time relief. This would be totally for personal enrichment. I like the learning environment, and the initials, and the discipline. Of course that would probably eliminate my on line time!
Good luck Stephanie! It sounds like you are going to be well prepared. Both for the test, and the bigger baby test.
