ChiKat, I get ya. I'm doing (almost "did"!) full-time, starting summer 2003, and it's been really hard. For example, I filed a whopping $7500 in earnings for 2004 (I spent $9000 on tuition) so it has been of the poor and of the suck.
My mentor teacher tells me of people he's mentored who have been holding down 40 hour a week jobs while they student taught; I honestly don't know how.

Holy cow! I don't know how, either. I'm doing good to take 6 hours/term and work 45-50 hrs/week. My plan is to work part-time while student teaching (and to be beltless while doing it). I don't think I could keep my sanity, what little I have left, otherwise.
