I am redheadedish again. I also went a little nuts at DSW and discovered that Lake Champlain's Raspberry truffle filled dark chocolate is distrurbingly good. it's been a full day, and I am ready for a nap, I think.

I am done with student teaching! Today was my last day (but I'm subbing on Monday, so it's a weird BYE/HI feeling) andnmy students threw my parties. A bunch of my Latina girls in 3rd hour brought a whole bunch of food -- homemade enchiladas, tamales, arroz con leche -- and it was so fun!
Now, I just have to revise my portfolio before Tuesday. Lots o' work, but...almost DONE!!!

One part (the bigger part) of me is extremely happy for you while the petty side (hopefully a much smaller part) of me is jealous, jealous, jealous. I started working on getting my teaching certificate in 2002. I'm still working on it. And, I'm in an alternative cert. program for people who already have degrees, so it's not like I'm starting from scratch. I thought I'd be student teaching spring 2006, but it looks like fall 2006 because of scheduling issues.
I hate office politics.
I hate it when my co-workers deny the existence of office politics. Don't get me started on the co-worker who cries to get her way.
