Well, but curry goat is West Indian. (By which I mean Carribean, obviously. Er. Not from the West of India. But you knew that.)
...And, um, I don't love it. Rice and peas, otoh, or roast plantain, yum yum yum. Curry goat, not so much with the yum.
(Sorry, ita's mum. Who I presume probably does make fabulous curry goat, since she can do everything else and has a perfect singing voice and could kill you with her pinky and should, in fact, probably be called Mary Sue.)

Curry goat isn't just West Indian. Or our influence has stretched beyond borders. I've had it just as often in Indian restaurants as in Jamaican ones.
