Wait, he said all that and didn't have the paper ready to hand back to you? Because that would seriously annoy me.
Buffy ,'Lessons'
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, that sucks, vw. And now you have to wait to find out exactly what you have to work on? Double sucks.
Nope. He wanted to "talk" to me before giving it a final grade and making comments. And I am a bit annoyed...more scared than annoyed, though.
I thought it was one of the better things I've written and really thought it was A work.
Just because it wasn't what he was looking for doesn't mean it's not one of the better things you've written. It's just not what he was looking for. I know this was a rough thing to hear, and you've had some rough days recently, but always remember how much I believe in you, and how capable I (and a whole bunch of other people) think you are.
You can do it, you just have to do more of what you did before. I know you're more than capable of it.
That's rough, vw. But when you were writing it you kept saying you wanted to do more yourself. He probably wants you to do more of what you wanted to do anyway.
Sorry vw, but I'm sure you'll do well.
TOTALLY missed that "Lay of of VW" memo until just now.
My bad.
Well, Universe, please keep up on the memoes. Have you seen the one about Sean??
{{vw}} What Sean said. The paper wasn't "what he was looking for." That doesn't mean it was bad. That two, entirely different criteria.
Cool. I've never gotten money back from both Kansas and Missouri.
Me, either. I ALWAYS have to pay Kansas. They suck.
VW, had your advisor seen any drafts of the paper?
vw, what Sean said. Not what he wanted /= it's a bad paper.
eta And I just realized why I can't do what I usually do for "not equal to". Huh.
