Still, it's nice to be flirted with.
Hells yes it is.
Buffy ,'Help'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That sounds great, Calli.
I recommend drinks at the bar atop the Hancock building in Chicago, Lilty. Great view during the day and at night. We hit it for sunset, and that was pretty awesome.
Four days of museums, booze, canals, food, more museums, more booze, and the occasional cutiehead fella.
No hash bars?
No hash bars?
Every fifth storefront, give or take. I didn't even need to go into one, I just walked by and got a shotgun, desired or not.
Although post-2nd-hand high snacking in Amsterdam is really, really good. Chocolate covered waffles or falafal. Or both. Plus, really, really, really good apple pie. Mmmmmmm.
Pot's not my thing--my addictions of choice are caffeine and occasionally booze. But the Amsterdam stoners were quite polite and pleasant. So were most of the drunks, for that matter. (At least, I hope I was.)
WAH. I just had highlights done and now my carefully-crafted hair routine doesn't work any more; my hair is both greasy and frizzy after two days.
I was using Bumble and Bumble's curly system; I switched the shampoo for B&B's gentle shampoo, but all is kerfungled.
Anybody got a good shampoo/conditioner/gel mix for colored wavy hair?
Is the curly system considered safe for treated hair? If so, you may want to use it like you used to, as your hair may not be damaged enough to need a specific color treated shampoo.
Betsy, my new favorite system is Tigi's Catwalk Curls Rock! System. My hair is generally unruly and needs all the help it can get, so I use the shampoo/conditioner/leave in conditioner/ curl spray/ curl creme combo, but you any of these products on their own are good. Maybe the shampoo/conditioner/creme combo.
Lilty, if I were going to Chicago, I would go to either (crap, I'm blanking on names, but maybe someone can help me out) the fairly well-known deep dish pizza place just off Michigan Ave. with dark wooden booths and white writing all over the place (I found it the first time by just following this really long line to get in) or this other restaurant called the Ovengrinder, I think. It was north of downtown and had this amazing bread (called an ovengrinder) that came with fabulous sauces.
Also, the Shedd Aquarium is cool.
Gino's East is the pizza place Steph is talking about, and it is awesome pizza. Also, I'll second the Shedd Aquarium. You must go see the dolphin show too...the pool overlooks Lake Michigan, so it looks like it goes on forever. It's wicked cool.

Thank You!! I've been sitting here knowing that East was in the name, but nothing was coming up for me.
eta: My BIL has this idea for this new computer logic that would go find connections when researchers did see them (that's the short version). I told him the other day that I already have that - here. I love the hivemind.
