Excellent house, Nora and Tom!
Excellent toddlage, Cashmere! Owen's adorable.
And I hope Princess Ticky Box's arrival is as speedy and smooth as possible.

That house makes me wish we could trade. Baby stuff makes this place look even smaller than ever.
Is there news? Or are we celebrating Imminent Tickybox Day?
Not that I know of, to the news bit!
I have to call around 2pm to see if there's room at the inn, and if so, what time's check in. Meanwhile, I want to go back to sleep, but the kitten is being a spaz. (Also, I have to work, so I suppose just sleeping through the day is a bad plan.)
Gronk. Still not totally packed. Think the clothing is dry now, so in theory, I could pack.
I OWN A FREAKING MINIVAN!
Yay! Congratulations!
I am wearing my Popular t-shirt from Wicked to counteract the momness a little.
Bwah! See, I knew it would come in handy :)
It's funny how people see you so differently from how you see yourself. I see myself as Elphaba. Yet, 2 totally different people, on seperate coasts, who have never spoken to each other, bought me the Popular t-shirt. I love it.
Extra Bwah! It’s not that I *see* you as Glinda more…it’s just that the t-shirt seemed to fit you so well…with the glitteryness and all.
Damn - do you know how much further you are now than you were this time last semester - I am really proud of you
Actually, now that you mention it…Thank you so much. I don’t know if I could do this without you guys. I hope you all know how much you mean to me.
Ben wouldn't use the spoon for his ice cream, but really wanted the ice cream. He'd grab a fist full of it, scream because it was cold, cry until he got it into his mouth, then smile through the tears. Over and over and over.
Oh, how I love this!
This morning, Sesame Street has been about the telephone. Aidan's been walking around going, "ring, ring!" He lost interest when he found the magna doodle. Now he's drawing shapes (not quite correctly) and saying, "twiango, sue-cul, squay". Though, I suppose the shapes he's drawing might fit those names since they're a little deformed for the proper pronunciation.
So sweet! I love all the Buffista baby stories.
I am feeling SO much better this morning. Theodosia came over last night, and we ate Chinese food, strawberries (and they were YUM!) and watched The Incredibles. I am now in love with that movie. So fabulous. It was so nice to have the company after such a rotten day.
I actually slept in this morning, which means I’m running a bit late, but I think I really needed the sleep. Yesterday was just ick. Let’s not repeat that for a while, k?
Timelies!
Is that a wood-burning stove in the bedroom? That'll be amazing in the winter.
Gas stoves, in the bedroom and in the sitting room.
Thanks for all the condo love! I cannot overemphasize how nice it is to hear that a purchase you committed to for lots and lots of money is awesome. It fends off buyers remorse quite nicely. I mean, obviously, I think it's awesome, but I doubt my judgement sometimes.
Poptarts:
I'll be thinking of you all day, till we hear something, Plei. Much luck, ~ma and prayers headed your way. I wish I could express how absolutely excited I am for you. I just hope and pray everything goes all smoothly and easily for you.
Congrats Nora and Tom!!!
Babies are cute.
So, my back feels better today, but the scroll wheel on my mouse stopped working. Does it never end???!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm glad your back is feeling better today, Jessica. Back pain is SO NOT FUN.
ION, my Emily comes home today. I can't wait to show her the living room. I hope she likes it.
Why do they show houses full of furniture? Doesn't that get in the way of seeing the house? Presumably, the furniture will be going along with the people who leave the house. I watch the shows about selling houses, and people come in and say horrible things about the decorating, which is irrelevant.
Does it never end???!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Heh. Not so far. And why don't I have a magic coffee machine at my desk? What has this civilization achieved anyway?
A friend of mine is watching Buffy for the first time, well, two friends, actually, but this one is near the end of S5. He sent me an icq "oh don't say the last ep is a cliff hanger."
I was good, but nearly exploded from the not saying anything spoily.
GOrram knocking noise from inside the dasboard this morning. Didn't do it at all last night. Must to be calling salesman.
