My parents own one. It's quite useful for hauling large things, and gets decent gas mileage. The back seat is set so high, though, that I got even more carsick than usual back there.
Mine have a CRV, which is nice enough and has many of the Element advantages, but I find the Element more comfortable. For some reason, the CRV feels overly padded.
Aimee, you will NOT fuck it up. You will be JUST FINE.
I've probably had twelve moods today and it is not 3:00 yet. Anyone want to come see my sexy breakdown?
I'm exhausted and in tears again, but I did it. We (my parents, therapist and I) decided that the iPod is still on.
Right the fuck on! So proud of you, and totally agree the iPod is still on.
Nora - as everybody notes, homebuying is really stressful. Do cut yourself some slack. Try to get away from your desk for fifteen minutes. You need a break.
Jessica, I'm sorry you're having the massive back pain. I'm muy simpatico.
I suppose I'll have to be the maiden aunt.

Not a very hot thought, is it, Hecubus? Nuh and uh.
Called Congress AGAIN. Pretty soon, the office staff will know me and say "Hi, Erika. How does the Senator suck today?"
OTOH, they might take up a collection to have me be some other state's problem.
Yeah...I could send Obama love letters. Make a nice change.
My people are from there, actually.(including a great-aunt that is straight-up surprised that the Maafia are in the gambling riverboat business. My"really? Cool." was not the intended response, but she didn't know about the Thing thing.)
the old "in jury duty all day long" scam.
more like, rustling up counteroffers all day long. 4:30, find out there's another offer in. FUCK. we go up to our max and see how it will work out. At this point, the anxiety is gone, we have no more room to wiggle, they'll either take it or they won't.
I'm trying hard to get the bad taste out of my mouth, of feeling bamboozled, but hey, it's the game, and we played too. we could have taken their counteroffer last night.
I asked my buyer's agent this, and she seemed kind of taken aback and squirmy about it, but is it illegal for sellers to make up other phantom buyers? Or just highly unethical? or just, "eh, it happens"?
Quick, someone tell me how pretty the house is! [link]
