Not bad - am likely to stay another year at this school, as still want to be in Cairo and I don't have any other local jobs on the horizon. Boss still makes the Mayor look like a good guy. Actually he's cut from much the same cloth, now I think about it. Huh. Maybe he's going to end the year by turning into a big snake and eating us all.

Other than that, though, life is pretty good. I have a new laptop! Yay!

Fay, I'm so very glad you are unharmed! I will keep my fingers crossed that your boss if your boss really does end the year by turning into a snake, he also expires horribly in your school library. But, you know, without damaging any of the books.

I hope Kennit's kicking is more than him losing bits. And I tell myself I can't look at the last book to see if Wintrow gets to go back to the monastery.
