Pffftt. Corset-style piercings. Whatever. Seen 'em before, and it's not like they're permanent. Since they're surface piercings, you're only supposed to leave them in for something like a week at most. I mostly know this because some of the babygoths over on the Heirs to the Throne LJ gothy-goth community were all in a tizzy about *how kewl* it would be to have that sort of piercing, and show it off with halter tops and stuff!! OMG! The older, saner members of the community explained exactly what that sort of piercing entailed, and the kidlings settled down. Of course, reminding them that they needed parental permission for any piercing also made them a bit quiet ...
