That cut my skeeve in half, Jilli. Thank you.
I mostly know this because some of the babygoths over on the Heirs to the Throne LJ gothy-goth community were all in a tizzy about *how kewl* it would be to have that sort of piercing, and show it off with halter tops and stuff!! OMG! The older, saner members of the community explained
exactly
what that sort of piercing entailed, and the kidlings settled down. Of course, reminding them that they needed parental permission for any piercing also made them a bit quiet ...
Friends don't friends dress like The Crow or lingerie.
Who knew that the laundry place would be so busy on a Thursday afternoon. I think there are some people who came in after me that are REALLY not happy with me. I used all but two of the machines...
That's a good time to smile sweetly and apologize for using so many machines "...but I have this contagious skin condition...you haven't touched any of my clothes, have you?"
Oh, I did...smile sweetly, that is. I didn't tell them about the lovely skin condition. I also offered to let the girl go ahead, since I was using so many machines. She said no, so...
You're a better person than I am, vw.

You should say, "The expected value of others' annoyance of me is the same whether I use many machines for a short period of time or fewer machines over a longer period of time."
Of all days for the laundramat (sp?) to be this busy, they had to pick today. I'm totally not up for dealing with this anymore. I still need to go back and get the laundry, then fold it, put it away and remake the bed. Then, at some point, I need to take out the trash (which there is a lot of this week, because I was lazy and didn't take out the boxes last week). I don't have the energy for anything else today. I'm totally and completely overwhelmed and sobbing. This is ridiculous.
The laundromat always has that effect on me. Every time I think about laundromats (or what my aunt calls Wishy-Washies), I feel like I should go hug my washer and dryer. Your last two days would overwhelm almost anyone, vw. It's just too much crap at once.
Big craft stores like Michael's carry Wilton decorating stuff
I hadn't thought of that! We've got one close by so I'll check there.
Cindy, I was in Wal-Mart, and I looked in their little cake-decorating section with no luck. I just need orange, red and black for O's birthday cake (Elmo). I'm not sure if I want to try to pipe on the frosting, or just frost it by hand.
