Man, you just get darker and darker, and the weird thing is, your aura? Beige.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

lisah, crazyness. Here's hoping you're well clear of the fallout.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Well, one thing's down already. This is why I love my weekend job and will never ever ever give it up (aside from the nice cheap clothes). The people there are awesome. I called a lot of people to see if they could work for me. None could, so I call up the chick who's like the HR/Customer Relations manager and tell her the sitch. She goes around the store until she finds someone willing to take my shift, will fill out the change slip and everything.

I have to go up that way later to drop off some passes for the show. I think I'll buy a couple of thank you cards with a little present for her and the girl who took my shift and run by the store.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I would like to issue a formal apology to The Empress for 1) Calling her names 2) failing to capitalize said names into non-offensive terms and 3) blaming her for failings of the crappy family PC.

BWAH!

All is forgiven, lovey.

{{{vw}}} What everyone else said. Make ya a deal? I won't berate myself for my weight anymore and you not berate yourself for missing school for actual sickness.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wild stuff, lisah. I hoep your day-to-day is truly unaffected, or even improved.

I have bent Kohl's to my will and forced them to accept my money in exchange for goods. Ha! Take that, discount department store.

It'll be really nice to have more than two pairs of pants that I can wear to work.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's a great manager, Heather. I am glad she was able to help you out.

I love this border and want to order it now for Em's room in the future. Is that dumb??

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Me too. I was really stressing over it, because like I said I really like that job, and I don't want to lose it or have to quit because I can't work this weekend, and I don't want to screw them by leaving them understaffed. It gets insanely busy and one person not being there can make everyone's life difficult.

Anyway, yay Kar! BEST RETAIL MANAGER EVAH!!!

I can already see this is going to be a problem. I was all, "Oh, that's so sweet! And I haven't even done... oh."

Gonna have to get used to this.

(Hee! I love that you accidentally whitefonted, as though Emma might read it.)
