Email has been sent. I explained, apologized for the misunderstanding without any groveling or abjectness, and said something to the effect that if the additional expense was a problem, let me know and we'd find a way to work something out.
Right on. Hopefully she won't flip out.
Jackets never fit me well (always look gigantic) so the shrunken ones might fit like normal. I'm not sure why jackets are big on me - I'm not tiny and I do have boobs.
Ninja wedding! Susan, just don't make any sudden moves.
I haven't tried on any shrunken jackets and they actually look really good on the models, it's just the name that frightens me.
Susan, if you do have to work something out with her, perhaps you can split the difference--that is, take $30 out of your own fee--not as much of an ouchie to your pocketbook, but she might feel like she's winning.
Yeah, "shrunken" anything doesn't sound too nice. Maybe they should have gone with "fitted."
I don't have a jean jacket anymore (I had the same issues DebetEsse does with feeling like I'm wearing a denim suit) but I have a Levi's one in navy blue corduroy that belong to my dad from around the time I was born. Love it. It's barely even faded - I think it spent a couple of decades packed in a box before I unearthed it.
I just called my haircutter and made an appointment to correct the cut. You have no idea how difficult this was. (Two shampoos later, it's hanging weird in front.)
