Susan, if you do have to work something out with her, perhaps you can split the difference--that is, take $30 out of your own fee--not as much of an ouchie to your pocketbook, but she might feel like she's winning.
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, "shrunken" anything doesn't sound too nice. Maybe they should have gone with "fitted."
I don't have a jean jacket anymore (I had the same issues DebetEsse does with feeling like I'm wearing a denim suit) but I have a Levi's one in navy blue corduroy that belong to my dad from around the time I was born. Love it. It's barely even faded - I think it spent a couple of decades packed in a box before I unearthed it.
I just called my haircutter and made an appointment to correct the cut. You have no idea how difficult this was. (Two shampoos later, it's hanging weird in front.)
Mini-meara:
I have joined the ranks of the fluistas. Actually, I got sick a while ago, got almost all the way better, then relapsed, and have now done the same again. I am SO sick of being sick.
Ugh this is me - for the third time this year my trip to Maine didn't happen, this time cause I was down with something that's already hit me twice in March. Finally, the weather isn't really an issue for going north (though it was fairly crappy this weekend) and this happens. Feh and meh!
My office is a plague pit, and I am one of the diseased. There's lots of sneezing and coughing and blowing of noses. Thankfully we don't share computers.
This is also me, though I think I've had more like what put Hec down in LA (food-poisony rather than head-coldy flu, with added chills) though it was more constant low-grade queasiness rather than full-blown ralphing.
I have faith that someday, you will be, and that no matter how far you've travelled to get there, you wouldn't change a step on the path, because hey: there you are. (Note to self: I'm either turning into Keanu or Oz.)
Or Buckaroo Banzai
{{{Gud}}} Hope what's best is what happens, though it's probably not easy whatever that is.
And congrats and MAJOR house-ma to Nora and Tom. Let me know if you need info on Salem. Is this the place you linked to a ways back?

OOooh! I do. I do. I am living with hair-hanging-weird-in-front because it was too difficult for me to do.
Gulp. I decided that I had given this cut a reasonable chance. The color is so brilliant that I really don't want to give up on this stylist, so I'm hoping the cut can be fixed.

I can approximate. It's nearly a year since my last hair cut, partially because I'm embarassed to call the closest thing I have to a regular stylist after I had someone else do my hair for my wedding. I should just go to Supercuts.
This is the jacket I'm bidding on.
I think that is exactly my jean jacket that I wore today! I really like it--very flattering I think. It's hard for me to find fitted jackets that button up the front but this one does just fine and it falls to a nice place, not too short not too long.
I haven't tried on any shrunken jackets and they actually look really good on the models, it's just the name that frightens me.
I have a blue jean one that I love. In fact, I was wearing it when I met Calli.
