Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am cleaning (which is driving my cats crazy for some unknown reason) but is making me super happy. I have a pile of things for the drycleaner and I am stoked to be taking my cotton button up shirts in. The realization that I should have them laundered and pressed so I wouldn't have to iron them was so exciting for me.

more stuff you don;t need to know - I ran out of base today, so I only have the back-up make-up. which I don't like and doesn't cover as well and doesn't last all day. The result is that by the time I got home I was blotchy mceyebags. No chance the remedy the situation tomorrow unless I cut out of work early or take a long lunch. hmmm.

Have any Buffistas auditioned (or appeared) on Jeopardy in the past? I just got the email telling me that I'm one of the lucky ones selected when they do the regional auditions in Philadelphia in June.

I have passed the Millionaire syndicated test in the past, but I'm nervous that I won't do well on the Jeopardy one since I haven't exactly been engaging in any intellectual pursuits lately. (Pop culture and useless knowledge always seem to be floating around my gray matter, though.)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Right now he is very woobish and tiny. And his incongrous blode hair makes him look like a skater sometimes.

Awww! He sounds cute as a bug's ear. Or cuter.

They grow so fast, as you well know. May you enjoy his floppy new perfection.

I need Paul to take a picture of Lily tonight. Somehow, her hair rumpled itself up into a Hard Man 'do like Patrick's on Coupling. It's both cute and wrong.

That's great - good luck, HiddenSky.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

new baby! we need pictures. but it might be more important to know how Franny feels. I have one friend who had a c-section. brought home the new baby - and was still at the point where she wasn't supposed to do much lifting. She was in the living room and looked up to see her oldest carrying the baby down the hall. She said 'where are you going' and he said 'i don't like the baby anymore, I'm going to put it in the trash' .

At least I waited until my sister was 7 or 8 before I put her in the trash.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Congratulations, Hidden Sky!

I have some vague memory of one or our own being on Jeopardy. Jengod maybe?

on ER: saw THAT pregnancy at a hundred yards

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Jengod was definitely on. I think Jesse, too.

Ah, good, I'll have to pick their brains about what to expect during the audition.

Ew. Zell Miller's seriously gonna be on the Daily Show? Ew.

Looks like Freakonomics is pretty interesting, though.
