You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Jengod was definitely on. I think Jesse, too.

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

Ah, good, I'll have to pick their brains about what to expect during the audition.

Ew. Zell Miller's seriously gonna be on the Daily Show? Ew.

Looks like Freakonomics is pretty interesting, though.

If I only had a brain...

I once caught my two-year-old "helping the baby breathe" by putting a pillow on his face.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ah. Two children, both sleeping. So peaceful.

Frances is actually taking Isaac's appearance pretty well. She was a bit fearful, and also a bit sad to realize she was no longer the baby. But then it turned out the baby was pretty funny, and she switched over to enjoying him. She's been very gentle with him so far. Our main problem has been that she still has a bit of the cold from Hell, so we don't want her getting too close to him, and of course she'd like to rub noses and lick him and the like.

We were in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner, when suddenly we heard loud giggles coming from the baby monitor. Er. Isaac makes some interesting little noises, but nothing that sounds like that. Then I realize what it is. Frances is in the bedroom leaning over the baby's crib. Zoinks. Then I hear, "I got it! I got it!" Turns out, she had gone in to steal his pacifier (even though she has one almost exactly like it).

I retrieve the paci and return it to him. She comes over, pats his blanket gently, and reaches for the paci again. I think that sums up her ambivalence pretty well.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

This ep was supposed to be the [omitted] one, no? The FOX site makes it look like they're just pushing out a week.

So it didn't air on the West Coast either? Huh.

Zell Miller. euggh

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Burrell! I'm glad the family is settling in well, if a little ambivalently on some parts.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I knew someone would start saying things about Alias that'd make me want to rewatch after I deleted the episode. Bastards.

I'm glad to think I'm part of that! I'm also a little heartsore at the thought of Jack being on death's doorstep. I'm pretty sure they can't kill him, but I am a little nervous. Also, I am wondering if Elena will be what prompts Irina/Katya back to stop her.

Hey, Perkins, it occurs to me that we could turn over this thread before I go to sleep.
