Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Today is the first day in weeks, maybe months, that I haven't had something due that had to be addressed in a big panic. My new boss seems to thrive on panic and making things a big deal when they aren't.

The evil is this way?

Okay, but if his name is Bill, I'm still calling him Isaac.

My sister's name was Isaac, until they got the birth certificate amended. We still called her that sometimes.

Great!

But hey, when does that staff go to 11?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A really big airplane flew today.

It was the first test flight of the Airbus A380, the biggest passenger plane in the world.

Hee.

Benjamin in named for my grandmother. She was the fifth of eight children. They'd had boy - girl - boy - girl, and my great grandfather was certain she was going to be a boy. The doctor who delivered Nana called her dad into the room, and said, "Here's your Benny boy."

Ben stuck.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have an aunt named Bill. Her name is actually Bill Jane. They called her Willy Jane. For real.

She's not even Wilhelmina, Cashmere?

Nope. Bill. Just Bill.

Silly Hillybillies.

Was she named for somebody?

I always wondered about that actress that played Mama Walton--Michael Learned. It's pretty, and eye-catching, but that's just something I wouldn't do to a kid, because a kid has to live the first 20 something years of his life with other kids, who just aren't going care how creative, or nostalgic a name is.
