Up with the sun

Re TAR: I hate to be a fan of a commercial, but I kind of love the gnome ads. So I was happy to see them.

And I love Uchenna and Joyce, too. There's something about a guy who can call his wife his princess and not sound at all chauvinistic... I'm so happy they're getting their game on.

I want to like Meredith and Gretchen, but gawd! The whining! I admire her toughness even while I wish she would just. shut. up. I'm so glad Rob's taunting came back to bite him in the ass.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, and I liked how they did the awarding of the prize--everyone had an equal chance of getting it. Now that everything's getting a bit tighter, I'd be surprised if Ron and Kelly get as much generosity out of the other teams as Gretchen and Meredith did .

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And am getting too many emails from mortgage people.

YAY mortgage people!!

Susan, your neighbor should not keep you from getting your mail, no matter what you're expecting or not.

Art Crawl!!!

Kathy -- What you said -- I bet that nobody will want to help Ron and Kelly out the way that Uchenna and Joyce helped out Gretchen and Meredeth.

VM: Wow. And I guess that what? Veronica opens a can of whoopass on Logan ?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I spent half of TAR saying, "Hey Rob, how big are those shoes? Open wide!" How adorable was it that Meredith named the gnome? Jerome the gnome! It made me tense to watch Gretchen climbing the tower, but her constant stream of comments and exclamations amuse me.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

That was by far the best thing that has happened in several episodes. It rivals Tony's entrance for the best moment of the season.

I just watched 24 earlier tonight. Go on with your mad shoot 'em up self, Chloe ! I loved the expression of grim, slightly pissed off determination. So in character.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Susan, your neighbor should not keep you from getting your mail, no matter what you're expecting or not.

True, but the real problem is that one of the 2-3 USPS drivers on our rotation is a big wussy wuss who won't deliver the mail unless our cars are parked far enough from the mailboxes that you could easily get into the space in something twice the size of a postal van. Which with the lot size on our block is tricky to do without blocking the mailboxes of the neighbors on the other sides of our houses.

It wasn't actually the neighbors' car, as I realized when I took a closer look, and they weren't home anyway. We had one of the good mail carriers today, but as it turned out my mail was as boring as it could be. One bill and a stack of junk. A watched mailbox never boils over with checks and contest results and magazines, I guess.
