I just watched 24 earlier tonight. Go on with your mad shoot 'em up self, Chloe ! I loved the expression of grim, slightly pissed off determination. So in character.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Susan, your neighbor should not keep you from getting your mail, no matter what you're expecting or not.

True, but the real problem is that one of the 2-3 USPS drivers on our rotation is a big wussy wuss who won't deliver the mail unless our cars are parked far enough from the mailboxes that you could easily get into the space in something twice the size of a postal van. Which with the lot size on our block is tricky to do without blocking the mailboxes of the neighbors on the other sides of our houses.

It wasn't actually the neighbors' car, as I realized when I took a closer look, and they weren't home anyway. We had one of the good mail carriers today, but as it turned out my mail was as boring as it could be. One bill and a stack of junk. A watched mailbox never boils over with checks and contest results and magazines, I guess.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh quester, that was a great moment.

Gun toting Chloie aside, my favorite moment was Chloie's "Oh I don't do that" as she started to walk away. So matter of fact. She cracks me up.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I got two dozen roses for secretary's day. I'm still behind on thank you notes from my birthday. ima get some nice ones this weekend and set down to writing.

I'm also seriously considering a vacation to finish my book. Which i think is a fine way to spend a vacation. It is, right?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think so, Allyson.

I have done no unpacking at all today.

I know several authors who do that exact thing, so I think it's a brilliant plan.
