On Alias, who else really really really wanted Nadia to shoot the stupid red ball like Sydney did(or whatever it was that broke it)?

I mean, really.

I'd also like to know why my cat insists on using the litterbox when I'm in the bathroom. Yick. And why the other one loves getting "blow-dried" (he's not damp to begin with) so much.

Art Crawl!!!

Your cats are weird?

I can't remember what Sydney did to the giant red ball -- is that the thing that caused the flood for the "Oh no! Vaughn is going to drown in a building" cliff-hanger? I want to know if the thing with the elevator that Sloan referenced was something we saw in season 1 or something that happened (as it should be via that craxy Alias time-line) during Syd's lost two years.

Coding and Sleeping

Yesterday's wallpaper discussion made me change my wallpaper.

[link]

Picture one is my play yard project now that stage 2 is complete. Stage 3 is where things finally start taking shape, but involves a lot of prep work since I'm painting the parts before assembly.

Picture two is my new wallpaper.

Picture three is perhaps another wallpaper after cropping and adjusting.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Sumi - at the end of Season 1 of Alias Sydney attached a bomb to the generator that was powering the red ball. When it blew up all the water that was being suspended created the tidal wave.

As for the elevator cable being cut - it was mentioned that it happened in Moscow "four years ago" which would have put it at the end of season 2. (I think)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think the Moscow thing was not something we ever saw onscreen. But yes, I wanted a callback to the exploding giant red ball of pointlessness. I mean, it's a very cool visual, but what the hell is it FOR, other than for people to shoot and make it explode?

Fanatic!Sloane is awesomely creepy.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, "Come out with your hands up, or else we're sending in the monkey!" just doesn't have the right caché for persuading the criminal mind....

Here is the current image on my work computer: [link] (work-safe, of course!)
