I had dinner with Perkins and Tom tonight, we split a "Hana Boat" at a local sushi place (Hana Cafe). It's essentially a metric fuckload of sushi, sashimi, and rolls served in a big wooden boat. Absolutely perfect for 4 people.
Also very yummy. I got to meet Jess's DH, and see Tom and Jess! Yay, me. It was very fun, though my walk home was a little rainyier than I had hoped.
Cereal: Good luck with the induction, if it happens, Burrell, and Yay for good introductions, Allyson.
quester, that'd be fine. I'll let you know the dates I'll be there when I know more specifics. I don't expect to be overly busy while I'm there.
Jessica, I'm with you. I love
the Rambaldi stuff. It's so addicting! Also? I adored Arvin Clone!
Following up on wingnut TX legislators, did y'all see this?
TX House votes to end gay foster parenting.
It still has to go through Conference Committee before it becomes law, but damn y'all, that's cold.
Alias:
The
Sloane identification
scene and the
Arvin Clone
bit
were too damn funny.
And, OK, he was mean and all, but Ha! to the
torturing dude
for the
lie/lay bit.
Sloane was
freaky.
Loved it.
ETA: The
torture scenes were distrubing
. And she did have a point at the end there -
Clone wants her to use her engineering skills to help him build something, so his thug ruins her hands? At the very least, she'd need to write or type some calculations or something, you'd figure.
That was not forward thinking.
Alias: I have the big love for
Arvin Clone
for sure. I am still
eye rolly
and leary of going
back to Rambaldi
it may be the
shiny floaty red ball.
Or perhaps the way it
ended last time.
Will I watch next week? Ya betcha!
Sloane: I believe
I have never seen him better.
Yay for
creeeeeeeeepy.
urgh. I need to go to bed, but you all are having such the alias love that I want to go watch it now.
Alias:
Oh, and I wonder who
Jacquelyn is.
Or, at least, what the significance is.
