Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I almost thought the ad itself was a parody. All this "loyalty to Party and President" crap gives me the creeps. I find it, dare I say, un-American.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I had the same reaction, Susan.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Well, anyhow, Gud's link does provide us all with the necessary email addresses and phone numbers to use in order to let Voinovich know that some people are actually happy about what he's done.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I remember when I was about 3 or 4 being confused by my parents' enema bag.

Pity my best friend, who once went searching for a straw in our house and ended up finding the tubing for my grandmother's enema kit. He thought I was joking about it til the horrified look on my face convinced him.

Yeah, it's just so weird. I mean, I never, ever think in terms of loyalty to politicians. If anything, the shoe is on the other foot--they're the ones who are supposed to be loyal to the people who voted them there and the Constitution that holds the whole thing together.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Indeed. I see GW Bush as an employee that, sadly, the rest of the management didn't chose to fire at his last review.

And I am not pleased with his performance. At. All.

Always Anti-fascist!

Nope...he would totally be on a performance plan. Maybe wearing "flair' too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I will admit I've pondered crate training for O.

Just call it a Skinner Box and you'll be covered!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, ita is one of those girls that likes mini-sized things. squeeing in the travel eisle of the drug store is unacceptable.

OMG, what is wrong with you? Mini-sized things are the BEST. My grandmother still gives me samples when she gets them. Oh, which reminds me, apparently you can get a free sample of Tide for cold water on tide.com

OMG, Au Bon Pain has the most delicious new steak and goronzola cheese sammich. Delish, I tell you! It also involves caramelized onions.

HMOG. Wait -- I don't think I like gorgonzola. Phew!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Nope...he would totally be on a performance plan. Maybe wearing "flair' too.

Now totally brainwormed with images of Rumsfeld muttering about his missing stapler.
